We are currently looking for a Web Developer to join our growing start-up team in the exciting positioning and navigation technology field with prospects of developing applications/services for some of the elite companies in the world.

Your responsibilities will stand around: Codding, styling, testing and administration of the company web based services and other evolving projects; Generating high standard documentation and support materials; You are expected to work to the project deadlines with respect to quality and security standards. You would also contribute toward technical meetings, discussions and support strategy decisions.

To be considered for this position you must have:
• Degree in Computer Science or similar discipline.
• Previous experience in JAVA and PHP.
• Demonstrable experience in frontend web development including java script, css, HTML5.
• Some experience in rational databases such as: PostgreSQL, MySQL.
• Good understanding of the application stack (HTTP protocol, proxies, web servers and database replications)
Desirable skills also include:
• Knowledge of Big Data/ NoSQL systems such as Hadoop/HBASE.
• System admin experience in Linux.
• Good knowledge of systems administration and network administration such as load balancing, VPN and virtualization.
• Continuous integration skills for real-time testing and diagnostics
• Previous experience with development of web services/APIs.
